Respect My Gangsta: Lavarn Harvell

Timing is everything. And while the split-second timing of this photo certainly aids in boosting the impression it leaves you with, the simple fact is this: Harvell knocked this cat the fuck out.

From Boxing Experts Blog:
If you've ever wondered what it was like to get punched in the head — really hard — fortunately, you don't have to climb into the ring and find out yourself. Photographer Tim Shaffer gives you a pretty good idea of what it is like with his photo of Lavarn Harvell's knockout of Tony Pietrantonio in Atlantic City, N.J., on Saturday.
Yeah, that's the face of "never challenge Lavarn Harvell to a fair one".

Watch for the Hook

Next time, try racing something with four wheels. ...And an airbag.

Monday Kickstart: Knock the Dust off That...

Uh, yeah...you might want to run that through the car wash twice. Just saying...

As for the second half of this week's Kickstart, please note: My inclusion of Ms. Brittany Ireland in this post is only meant to be a motivational tool for our dear readers, and is in no way meant to be suggestive come-on from me to her...

...Nope, not at all. *cough* *makes "call me" hand signal to Brittany* Let's go.

Throwback Thursday: "Brown Sugar [Extra Sweet]" Mos Def ft. Faith Evans

This cool little track was pretty well slept on—as was the movie that it's named after. Personally, I kind of prefer the original version ("Fine") of the song. But they used this one for the video; and since you can't admire Faith's killer curves via audio, well...

Mel Gibson, Uncut Raw

Remember when South Park spent an episode making Mel Gibson look like a stark-raving-mad lunatic? Yeah, they were more on the money than you probably ever realized.

Here's a recording of Mel losing his shit on his staff and guests at his vacation home in Costa Rica, which has just been released by screenwriter Joe Eszterhas.

"Who wants to eat? Who the FUCK wants to eat?? Go have something to eat! HOORAAAYYYYY!" <----That might just be my new ringtone.

Gangsta Boo

There are many reasons why I love Rihanna, but this may be the least superficial one: She's just fun. And she's just the right amount of crazy.

Some Most All women are crazy—every guy knows this (some of us all too well...*cough*). There's a definitive point along the scale of crazy, though, where you're messing with a truly psycho broad; and, unless you like waking up with a gun barrel pressed to your nuts, you would be best advised to steer clear of these women. What you look for, then, is a gal who's about three steps short of that precipice. One, say, who isn't shy about rocking out at a concert with "Thug Life" written on her stomach:

Compare this to the infamous photos of Lindsay Lohan with a knife to Vanessa Minnillo's throat, and you have a vivid example of the right way and the wrong way to do a spontaneous, nonconformist-chic photograph. Right amount of crazy vs. Wrong amount of crazy. And then, just when you've gotten used to her foot-to-your-throat punk persona, Rihanna pulls a 180. The same playfulness that a moment ago was used to project the rebellious nature of a middle-fingers-up thug is called on to remind us that she is also a girly-girl expertly capable of employing her sexuality:

No human being is one-dimensional, but pop stars—or rather, the avatars that pop stars use when they feel that fans and cameras are watching—often are. They become so careful about how any one action or soundbite will be used against them that they stick to a narrow script, never daring to veer across the dotted lines. And that's my favorite thing about Rihanna: She's not afraid to change lanes as the situation dictates. She keeps it 100; she's all her, all the time. She's beautiful, rich, and famous, and certainly those are attributes that will earn the attention of a man with even the most honest of intentions; but the fact that she's actually as attractive on the inside as on the outside means a lot. She's exactly the type of woman every man wants to marry: honest, fun, sexy, and just the right amount of crazy.

More Tonya

Just found this while stalking doing research... And since Tonya's one of the hottest in the game [the Pittsburgh connection is causing a little favoritism too, I'll admit], figured I'd show more love.

Monday Kickstart: Who Says White People Can't Dance?

They just do it a little differently.

Know how I know she's good in bed?...

Not that a woman has to move around to seduce you. For example, there's this picture of Asana Mamoru:

Let's get it.

2Pac in 3D

If you haven't seen it yet, here's the full performance by the Tupac hologram at Coachella.

Kind of bittersweet. Great to see him perform "live" again, but...

R.I.P. Tupac.

"You ain't a killa, you still learnin' how to walk..."

Not every chick is ride or die...

From The Atlanta Journal Constitution:
Attorney Jennifer Little, recently hired by the widow of Dunwoody day care shooting victim Rusty Sneiderman, was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with suspected DUI, speeding and reckless driving.
While no one should feel particularly proud of themselves when thrown into this situation...damn girl.

Cuttin' Up with Barry

Aziz Ansari gives the world a glimpse of President Obama behind the scenes. This honest, starstruck commentary on meeting someone more famous than yourself is why I love Aziz. And this unpretentious, unaffected affability is why I love Barack.

Throwback Thursday: "Special Delivery (Remix)" -- G Dep ft. Ghostface Killah, Diddy, Keith Murray, & Craig Mack

TJ suggested this week's track, one of the few highlights from G Dep's brief career. Not a bad call at all...

Video: J. Cole -- "Sideline Story"

From Life + Times:
“A fitting punctuation to his gold debut album, J. Cole delivers the video for “Sideline Story” the latest visual from his critically-acclaimed album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, which spawned the platinum hit “Workout.” Directed by Axel Laramee and Adam Roy, the clip documents Cole’s international 2011 tour, capturing the song’s straightforward production and lyrics, representing the journey Cole has taken with the release of his first album and setting the stage for his follow up. As his newest single, “Nobody’s Perfect,” featuring Missy Elliott, currently climbs the charts, Cole is touring the US and continuing to record and document his story.”
I'm loving this clip. The best video is a relatively simple and real one, and that's exactly what Laramee and Roy have captured.

Beanie Sigel -- "Payback"

Uh oh...Beans is a little heated.

Tail Report: Female Sports Fans

I'm not sure what's going on with girls at stadiums and arenas lately, but they all seem to be feeling a little bolder. I like it.

That last sign, of course, brings to mind Jenn Sterger. We all know what she's been up to as of late, but where have her three friends been?

They deserve just as many minutes of fame and dick pics as Jenn. There's no justice in this world, I tell you.

Monday Kickstart: Head Game...She's Doing it Wrong

I sympathize, though. As any guy will tell you, a strong blow job will fuck your head up.

Good looks to TJ for the assist. And now for some inspiration for this week:

You know, if you'd told me yesterday I was going to have a post involving both a "blow job" and a picture of Jennifer Love Hewitt...well, let's just say my mind would've gone in a completely different direction. Let's get it.

Throwback Thursday: "It's Goin Down" -- Celly Cel

Despite 1996 being the middle of the East Coast Hip Hop resurgence led by Jay-Z/Nas/Biggie/Wu-Tang, this West Coast banger caught fire and could be heard bumping from cars throughout the East. To this day, my homie E talks with an added level of "amped" in his voice when you bring up Celly Cel's best known track.

Monday Kickstart: Don't Step to This

How do you know when you're outmatched? Maybe when your opponent assumes a radical new fighting stance that you've never seen before...

...Maybe that's the moment when you ask yourself just how serious you are about seeing this thing through to the bitter end.

Of course, if you're more of a lover than a fighter, then maybe Elvida Santos will appeal to your senses.

Tail Report: Catrinel Menghia

You may know her as the sexy, sultry brunette who slaps, scolds, and seduces a guy in the Fiat Abarth 500 ad. I know her as my Italian wifey.
