High stakes poker player arrested for triple murder
Kang Hyuk Choi was arrested while playing cards at Commerce Casino for a triple murder that occurred in New Jersey.
Here's a link to the full story.
Based on what I've seen on the internet, Kang would be the last person anyone suspected of a violent crime. Apparently he was very quiet and extremely kind and polite at his regular 80/160 game in Atlantic City (Borgata). However, everyone agrees that he was a crazy 'action' player in the games and rode the poker roller coaster to the extreme every time he sat down.
Here's a link to the twoplustwo discussion of the murder and Kang.
It's pretty sick that he was arrested at an actual poker game at Commerce. He was wearing some type of ridiculous arm brace/cast that he needed due to an injury suffered while he murdered three people. Someone at the poker table asked him what happened to his arm and he didn't respond. Then someone asked him if he got in a fight and he said 'yes.'
