First Time's a Charm

Admittedly, when I first saw Playboy tweet this video, I expected the tales to be a lot more "blah" than they were. Porn is pretty mainstream these days, and—in the world in general—it's hard to find anything that genuinely gets your attention these days. But a lot of these are pretty good.

From Playboy:
Curious about what it was like for adult film stars during their first experience on camera? Watch adult film stars Kayden Kross, Veronica Rose, Misty Stone, Anikka Albrite, Keiran Lee, Alexis Texas, Amber Ivy, Tori Black, Teagan Presley, Missy Martinez and Joanna Angel at AVN talk to Lisa Ann about what their first times were really like.

Monday Kickstart: Trolling for Talent

Always read the fine print. Always.

Dude was so focused on Tara Lynn and Layton that he didn't even think anything of it when the two guys got in, sat next to him, and started telling him to take his clothes off. That's some serious thirst.

And since thirst = motivation, this week's motivation is Ms. Layton Benton herself:

Let's go.

Monday Kickstart: Gotta Habit

This is fascinating.

From Betabeat:
Porn search engine PornMD has done a great public service. Using data gleaned from its platform, which allows users to search sites like Pornhub, YouPorn and XTube for whatever pornographic topic their genitals desire, PornMD has created an interactive infographic that maps global sexual interest trends.

Click here for the Global Internet Porn Habits Infographic

Would you have guessed that the most frequent keyword used in porn searches in the deep south—Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and the like—would be "ebony"? I guess all that hatred is really just repressed desire.

Speaking of desire...Chelsie Farah.

...Yup. Let's go.

That Voodoo That You Do

I'm sure you've heard about this by now. Been too busy to post anything before now, though.

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Sidenote: Anyone else think the owner's "private conversation" with the receptionist is going to involve a bottle of wine, some soft music, and the sentence "So how badly do you want to keep your job?" TJ with the assist.

"Osama, who's your favorite Lil Rascal? Alfalfa, or Spanky?"

From The Huffington Post:
A stash of pornography was found in the hideout of Osama bin Laden by the U.S. commandos who killed him, current and former U.S. officials said on Friday.

The pornography recovered in bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, consists of modern, electronically recorded video and is fairly extensive, according to the officials, who discussed the discovery with Reuters on condition of anonymity.
On one hand, should this be all that surprising? Bin Laden is said to have been in the compound for nearly five years, perhaps never having stepped foot outside of it in that time. Most guys couldn't go five days without some adult entertainment. On the other, stickier hand is the hypocrisy of a supposedly devout, radical Muslim man such as Bin Laden owning and enjoying common smut. Just as with religious zealots and "moralists" in the United States, it's typically the people who preach the most intolerance who are the biggest partakers in the very things they preach against.

This news brings up so many questions for me now. What kind of porn was Osama into? Was it Arab women? American women? Bull dykes with dildos? Midgets in leather? Just how twisted are the sexual kinks of a man so demonic as to plot the most unthinkable and diabolical of terrorist attacks? Or is there a balance--did all of that venemous ugliness make him fantasize about plain, vanilla, "girlfriend-experience" sex? Would scenes of an ordinary guy having missionary sex with his loving wife in their house with a white picket fence drive Osama to climax?

*pause* Things I never thought I'd write, speak, think... or want answered.

Charlie's Devils

Looks like someone's been planning for life after "Two and a Half Men".

From The Huffington Post:
Sheen, who was hospitalized after a night of partying with porn stars, prostitutes and cocaine -- and is now headed to rehab, though that may come at home -- allegedly wanted to create a "porn family" and now we know why. Turns out, he wanted them to star in his latest productions, if his madam is to be believed.

Sheen's madam, who goes by the name of Felony, told Radar Online that he was planning out an entire porn franchise, to be titled 'Charlie's Devils.'

"Charlie and I were having this great project and he was talking about performing in front of the camera," Felony said. He even made a demo: "Charlie's got the tape. I gave it to him afterwards," the madam said. "He was keeping it so he could practice."
I tell you, I'm not necessarily sad for Sheen over how his life and career have gone. No, I'm mad at drugs for being hazardous to one's health. If cocaine didn't have the audacity to potentially kill you, Sheen's life could only get cooler and cooler with every passing sniff.

A Slap to a Father's Face

This is Laurence Fishburne's hell.

As a proud father, a man can only hope to instill in his offspring the same values and positive character traits by which he, himself, has lived. That goes for any dad; but when you yourself have become rich and famous, you can't help but beam with pride in the opportunities that your hard work has not only produced for you, but for your child as well. And when you find out that your daughter wants to follow in your footsteps...well life just doesn't get much better, does it?

Fishburne, an acclaimed actor, has built a solid reputation for himself over his long career. He has starred in blockbuster films, and has become famous for numerous film, television, and stage roles; but he has never sold out in search of celebrity itself. So surely his 19 year old daughter, Montana, would do much the same in her burgeoning acting career, right?

Well...

In what surely has to be the press release most likely to make you start drinking before lunch today, Vivid Entertainment, the adult film company that gave us the notorious Kim Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson tapes, explains Miss Fishburne's surprising foray into porn. "I view making this movie as an important first step in my career," she says. "I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by Vivid. I'm hoping the same magic will work for me. I'm impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it."

She's not joking, no matter how much her father wishes she was. And just how badly do you think Fishburne is wishing that he had one of those blue pills from The Matrix?

This story is a sad commentary on a generation of our society raised to value fame over the very trades which once earned this treasured commodity. People—like Laurence Fishburne—used to become actors because they loved theater and the art of being a true thespian; now acting isn't the destination itself, but instead a trifling means of merely being recognized at the Gucci store.

And what must all of the yet-to-be-discovered actresses out there think of this? The ones struggling, working as waitresses and Miller Lite girls to pay their bills while they pursue their dream of acting—how do they feel about Montana, at the seasoned age of 19, deciding her "career" isn't moving fast enough for her liking? What does it say about the trade they love when a teenager—who has had every opportunity and advantage you could dream of handed to her—is foregoing all of the years of paying dues, using a sextape to get herself to the top?

If I ever have the honor of meeting Mr. Fishburne, I'm buying him a drink. I think he's going to need it.

Head Games?

Hup Holland Hup!

Dutch porn star Bobbi Eden—along with fellow adult film actresses Vicky Vette, Miss Hybrid, and Gabby Quinteros, who call themselves "Team BJ"—has pledged to give blow jobs to all of her followers on Twitter if The Netherlands wins the World Cup on Sunday. Now that's national pride. Bobbi currently has well over 9K followers (including yours truly), and that number is rising rapidly. The ladies are going to have their work cut out for them if The Netherlands wins it all.

And with that kind of encouragement, the Dutch may be hard to beat on Sunday.

Too Pretty for Porn

Complex Magazine did something most of us have probably thought about at some point in time (and don't act like you haven't): they ranked the 50 hottest stars of porn, with some surprises along the way. A few of the highlights on the list:

#50. Jenna Jameson
"Arguably the Jigga of porn (complete with vast media empire and gradual fall-off), Jenna branded her dazzling looks (pre-surgery) into a one-woman industry complete with a billboard in Times Square."

#43. Havana Ginger
"Porn shamelessly appeals to ethnic stereotyping, and this black and Latina Cali chick gets the, um, 'best' of both worlds. Not only did she star in Latina Anal Heartbreakers, she also was featured in Black Ass Candy. We're post-racial, Barack! We did it!"

#39. Adriana Sage
"Holy shit! This girl is perfect: She likes comic books (her name was taken from the X-Men), she digs rap (she appeared in 50 Cent's 'P.I.M.P.' video), and loves football (her website include NFL predictions). Also, she's a porn star. Well, 'former,' anyway."

#32. Priya Rai
"Honestly, Priya doesn't seem like the best lay in the universe (unless it's a hate-fuck, since she's kind of snotty), but we have to root for a woman who started doing hardcore at age 30. Top Brahmin!"

#27. Kristina Rose
"When this San Diego native visited our offices for a pictorial x interview, we found her outgoing personality almost as bubbly as her perfect bookshelf rump. White girls with ass, yeah? Like Depeche Mode said: We just can't get enough."

#24. Adrenalynn
"Back when porn-star-slash-tattoo-artist Adrenalynn (a.k.a. Adrianna Lynn) was modeling for JC Penney, nobody knew that she would eventually have 'Jarrod's Little Fuck Doll' tatted around her asshole. Wait, isn't that the droopy-skinned dude from the Subway commercials?"

#19. Alexis Love
"Despite weighing under 100 pounds, this slender Sacramento-bred Latina is a heavy hitter--she won a 2009 AVN award for the 'Best All-Girl Couples Sex Scene.' We don't even really know what that means exactly, but we're excited about it."

#5. Sasha Grey
"Known for delicate features, a raunchy mouth, and a willingness to do almost anything, Sasha is the indie darling of the adult-film world: She took her name from an Oscar Wilde book (The Portrait of Dorian Gray) and starred in Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience. Oddly, we've never experienced a girlfriend with such proclivity for being tied up and face-fucked."

#1. Maria Ozawa
"Everything about this French-Canadian/Japanese beauty seems kinda abnormal for a porn star, from her stable childhood to her unhurried entry into the adult biz. But most of all, its her utter flawlessness (finally non-pixelated!) that continues to astound us. Thank heavens she doesn't think she's too pretty for porn."

"John Play the Riff -- PLAY THE F**K RIFF!"

First he got a hood pass (or, as he calls it, a "n****r pass"); now he may get a smut pass.

Vivid Entertainment has offered John Mayer a chance to write and direct one of their movies.
In the now infamous piece, Mayer said his "dream" is to write pornography. And now, X-rated company Vivid Entertainment has offered him a gig doing just that.

According to TMZ.com, Vivid sent the bluesy guitarist a letter asking him if he wants to write and direct one of its upcoming nudie flicks.

Vivid believes Mayer has the right credentials because, in their words, his talents have "touched so many."

Mayer's publicist has quickly stated that the musician will be declining the offer. But at this point, I'm not so sure that's a wise move. Every day the Adult Entertainment industry becomes a little more legitimized, which would suggest that the project might not tarnish an established celebrity's public image as much as it may have in years past. And, given the last couple of weeks, can things honestly get any worse for Mayer's public image?

Personally, I've been having fun with the thought of Mayer signing onto this project. What would the title be? "Your Booty is a Wonderland"? "StepDaughters"? Or maybe just "Sexual Napalm"? Would Dave Chappelle make a cameo, and start a scene by paying homage to the one in their famous skit from "Chappelle's Show"? The potential for this one is through the roof.

Please rethink this, John. I think the world needs this in our lives right now.

Porn Star Goes Ballistic

I've never heard of Tanner Mayes, but I'm suddenly interested in watching some of her work. Who would have expected such irrational behavior and foul language from a woman acting in a movie titled "Lesbian Bukkake 15"?

Sasha Grey: More than Tail (Report)

Here's an interesting article about Sasha Grey, who may just become the first woman to ever go from being the current "It Girl" in the porn industry to being the current "It Girl" of Hollywood. Her performance in the upcoming mainstream movie "The Girlfriend Experience" (directed by Steven Soderbergh) has impressed critics—even those as renowned and tough as Roger Ebert.

Grey is undeniably beautiful, but is far from the stereotype that likely pops into your head when you hear the words "porn star":
So, armed with shrewd business acumen, defiantly libertine ideals, the latest in social-networking tools and a frame with barely-legal contours, Grey is building that brand. She’s starting her own company to produce intelligent porn that focuses on real acting, rather than mechanical, unimaginative copulation. At the same time, she’s trying to further her mainstream film career, develop cachet in the experimental-music world and cultivate a growing fan base that often seems as interested in her brains as they are in her body.

“My whole thing is to bridge that gap,” she says. “To say, ‘Yeah, I have sex on camera, but I can act, make music, draw, paint and write poetry.’ I consider myself a Renaissance woman.”

Grey rarely drinks, doesn’t do drugs and, contrary to the prevailing stereotype, says she was never abused as a child. As Soderbergh sees it, “She’s a new breed. She’s a mold-breaker.”

The jump from adult film superstar to being one in mainstream cinema is an extremely difficult one to make, given the stigmas involved with porn. It can at times be impossible to break American audiences from social pigeonholes and stereotypes that have been cultivated since before their grandparents were born. But if anyone stands a chance to do it in your lifetime, it's Grey. Her combination of beauty, brains, character, and fearlessness is rare (and she's only 21, giving female moviegoers yet another reason to hate on her).

The full Blender article can be found here. It's a good read, and a fascinating look at the talented and determined "Renaissance woman."
