Respect My Gangsta: Jon Stewart
You can have whatever view on President Obama that you want. But if you're against him, I hope you have a credible reason, and not one of the manufactured ones that the GOP likes to spin. And that's not to say there aren't credible criticisms to be made; you're just not going to hear many being used by Republicans in Congress who haven't made the slightest effort to work with him over the five years that he's been in office.

Louis CK Drops a Gem on 'Em
If you have two eyes and internet access, you no doubt have seen last week's firestorm over Daniel Tosh's confrontation with a blogger about rape jokes. Caught up in that scandal—accidentally, as it turns out—was Louis CK. So during an appearance on The Daily Show last night, Louis took the opportunity to explain his position, and to expertly deconstruct the entire war of words. File this one under "real talk".

RIP Greg Giraldo
Touching words and tribute by Jon Stewart and The Daily Show. Giraldo's comedy was a rare combination of intelligence and brashness; off the stage, he was reported to be a genuine and caring person, loved by his wife, sons, family, and friends. He will be deeply missed.
