Monday Kickstart: $ave Dat Money

After a weekend of debauchery (...if your weekend didn't involve any debauchery, you've done something wrong), we can all appreciate this ode to frugality by internet star Lil Dicky.



The amount of hustle it took to put together this video is insane. To get the private homeowner to let them use her place was impressive enough (and kudos to her for asking that, in return, donations be made to Planned Parenthood), but to get a Lamborghini dealer to let you take an Aventador out on the road for free? Dicky got game.

I love L.A. It's my homeland, and the sun and relaxed atmosphere give me the warm and fuzzies when I think about them. But, perhaps more than anywhere else, image is everything in that town. And that's true for all sexes.

And, while we're at it, I love Ali. She's a Pittsburgh girl that knows how to have fun. But if I had to choose between getting into a regular car with her and a Lambo with Stevie? Well...

Hot Wheels

Did you ever watch a race on TV and see a car's engine blow, and think to yourself, "Why don't you ever see that happen with a street car?" Well, add twin-turbochargers and 2005 bhp to a Lambo Gallardo, top it off at 250 mph, and you'll get your wish. Just make sure that after all of those modifications, you have some extra cash left with which to replace the engine and bodywork.

I still don't get naming a song after a Murcielago. 'Ye likes to talk about being "so ahead", but Lamborghini stopped producing Murcielagos in 2010. I guess he had a hard time rhyming "Aventador".

While I think the snide comment by the anchorwoman is a little unjustifiably glib (and reeks of jealousy), the owner of this Lamborghini is most certainly a dumbass.

Auto Eroticism: Lamborghini Urus

Last month Lamborghini unveiled its newest concept car – an SUV dubbed the Urus. You read that right: Lamborghini, the company whose heritage is rooted in creating some of the world’s sexiest and most powerful exotic sports cars is now making SUVs and flying them under the same banner which has housed the Aventador, Reventon and Murciélago. While the Urus will probably be the most powerful SUV on the market (thanks in part to its aerodynamic design and V-10 584HP engine) it’s also being detested by fans of the Italian automaker, as enthusiasts are saying that Lambo is diluting its brand and lowering its standards for crossover appeal.

Hardline enthusiasts and traditionalists may be upset over the move, but I applaud it. Lamborghini has one of the richest sports car backgrounds around. How would that suddenly be erased by them making one SUV line? The Urus looks good (aside from the interior; they may want to rethink the whole "Alaskan redneck camouflage" trim), and should be pretty powerful. I'm looking forward to wishing I could afford one.
