Trailer: Entourage (2nd Official Trailer)

Something about this just feels off. The cinematography used during the series gave the show a spontaneous, in-the-present feel. This may not make sense to anyone who hasn't lived there, but the feel of the series was distinctly SoCal. The trailers for the movie, though, have a different cinematic look to them, and it's messing with the tone. I really hope that's not an ominous sign.

The gang is back. I cannot wait for this to be released. I'll be binging on eps on HBO GO until that day.

Tail Report: Dania Ramirez

If you've been following the new season of Entourage, you've likely been asking yourself just who that is playing the mami so fine that she made Turtle forget that being the boss means being liable for sexual harassment suits. Well her name is Dania Ramirez, and she's also Maxim's latest covergirl.

[For those of you who actually read the articles, the interview with Dania can be found here.]

Jamie-Lynn and Turtle Split Up (like, for real this time...)

In "news" that likely surprises very few people, life has imitated art as Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Jerry Ferrara have ended their relationship. The two began dating soon after Jamie-Lynn began a series of guest appearances—as herself—on "Entourage," on which Ferrara plays the lovable weedhead flunky-turned-college student Turtle. As reported by People:
"They're busy with their careers, and she in particular has a couple of movies out in 2010, and others in the works for 2011, so it's just tough," a source who knows the couple tells PEOPLE.

"It's ironic, because in the recent season finale of Entourage, Jamie tells Turtle that she has to go to New Zealand to shoot a movie, and it causes problems, so it's ironic but that's what their lives are like."

Personally, I think Jamie-Lynn just glanced in the mirror one day and realized how insanely hot she is. Then she looked over at Turtle Jerry and did the math. Just a theory.

Call me, babygirl.

Seth Vs. Vinnie and the Boys

If you're a fellow "Entourage" fan, then you saw the discussion between Turtle, E, Drama, and Vinnie about "Knocked Up" and Seth Rogen's attractiveness. It seemed like a rather innocent back-&-forth, and if anything a rather common discussion that I could easily see my friends and I—who are all of the same age range as the boys on Entourage—engaging in on a random day. Seth Rogen, however, wasn't laughing.
In "Knocked Up," Seth Rogen plays a nerdy, not-so-attractive guy who ends up with the hot girl (in this case, Katherine Heigl). But does that happen in real life?

No, according to the guys of HBO's "Entourage" -- and especially not in the case of Seth Rogen. Turtle (Jerry Ferarra) and Drama (Kevin Dillon) dismissed Rogen and Heigl's fictional relationship, insisting that real life is not that generous to less attractive people. ...The argument wasn't exactly mind-blowing, but the script did manage to get under Seth Rogen's skin with some digs about his looks
It turns out, in fact, that there has been a large feud brewing between Rogen and Entourage for years. And while Rogen claims that Mark Wahlberg started it with disparaging comments about he and the Apatow clan, it appears that the actual cause may be some sour grapes on Seth's part.
At first, we assumed Rogen was overreacting, but we did our research and found out that Rogen and "Knocked Up" co-star Jason Segel pitched an idea for a show to HBO, an idea they believe was similar to "Entourage." The network passed on it but then soon after gave Mark Wahlberg's "Entourage" the green light.

Rogen's show idea was loosely based on his own group of friends. "We'd just play video games for months on end," he said. "But we all really wanted to work and make movies."

"I just remember feeling really bitter," Rogen once told E! Online. "We thought the stuff we were writing was funny ... and it just seemed crazy that no one else liked it. You start to question your own sanity. Like, 'Our HBO pilot isn't funny, but 'Entourage' is?'"
Sounds as though Rogen's come down with a serious case of "hateritis."

Leighton Meester's into Foot Sex?

Ahh, summer. We're only days away from the year's seminal season, and it appears we may have our first big celebrity scandal. Reports abound that a video showing Leighton Meester (one of the "no one would care if 'Gossip Girl' weren't the current 'it' show" girls—Blake Lively would be the other) naked and using her "talented feet"—TMZ's words, not mine—on a lucky (and apparently enterprising) ex-boyfriend has surfaced. That's a far cry from her Entourage character, "Justine", who used her "chastity" for PR.

Or is it? Though the hype surrounding this story is steadily growing, nothing has been substantiated as of yet. And these days, I suspect these lascivious tales to be covert publicity stunts, especially when they are exposed—pardon the pun—as mere rumors. Meester is a "rising starlet" (again, not my words) with a somewhat innocent resume. No onscreen nudity, works on a teen-targeted network drama; really, the only less-than-wholesome moment of her career thus far came on Entourage, when she teased Vince about giving him the best head he's ever had. So a sex tape hoax right about now would be suspiciously fortuitous. A movie producer casting a provocative role in a big-budget film may have looked past Meester last week; now, perhaps she's one of the first names to pop into his mind. In Hollywood, image is everything.

Maybe I'm wrong, though. Maybe she's into foot play and other erotic acts. And maybe she loves having a camera on her at all times, not just those where a script and paycheck are involved. Maybe she's a dirty, dirty slut, and video evidence of it will soon be made available to the world. I, personally, am hoping for the tape to be a sham.

Not out of any disillusionment that she's really of upstanding moral fabric, mind you. I just don't want any added boost to Gossip Girl's ratings.
