I'm a little late with this but I couldn't resist putting it up as everyone should be aware of the international crisis that could occur overseas.
Apparently after turning down a three-year 36 million dollar deal a few years back, former NBA player Bonzi Wells signed for approximately $80k to play in China, where he is averaging 46 points a game for former Seattle Sonics coach Bob Weiss.
I'm going to ignore the fact that Bob Weiss is coaching in China and focus on the fact that Bonzi is in China, where he will undoubtedly worsen the already terrible American reputation across the globe.
Atthehive did a great timeline of what Bonzi has been up to while in China and his ridiculous three-point shooting binge.
Some highlights:
December 12th: Says Bonzi Wells "I am not a bad boy."
December 21st: "In the NBA, I was never able to play so freely," says Wells post-game, after attempting 15 three pointers and making just 5.
December 28th: Impressed with Bonzi's amazing passing ability and legendary 3 assists per game average, Coach Bob Weiss decides to play Wells at point guard.
