On the Loose
Personally, I think all the zombie stuff on TV and in movies is the male-equivalent to all the vampire bullshit that women eat up. It's all ridiculous, overdone, and a waste of time.
That being said, this shit cracked me up (especially the very end). I'm amazed this guy didn't get himself shot.
My boy Profound with the assist.

Respect My Gangsta: Mark Cuban
It's a celebration, bitches!
From the NY Post:
From the NY Post:
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban spent $110,000 in four hours celebrating at club Liv at Miami's Fontainebleau after his Mavs beat the Heat to take the NBA Championship. Cuban spent most of it on a $90,000 bottle of Ace of Spades Champagne for teammates Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Terry, Brian Cardinal and Shawn Marion. After partying with the trophy until 5 a.m. yesterday and taking in a performance by Lil Wayne, Cuban left a $20,000 tip for the wait staff. "Worth every penny," he cheerily told us via e-mail.

Throwback Thursday: "I Need a Girl (Part 2)" -- P. Diddy ft. Ginuwine, Mario Winans, & Loon
To paraphrase Mr. Diddy in the style of Mr. Cee Lo Green: "I see you ridin 'round town, Jen...and I'm like 'Fuck you!'"
Additional thought: Has the city of Miami had to pay any marketing fees to Diddy? He's done more to promote that city than Dan Marino and LeBron James could ever dream to.

Feeling Stressed?
Forbes has released a list of America's most stressful cities. There seems to be a deep irony, though, in that three of the top ten (Miami, Tampa, and Vegas) are places where people typically go to unwind and get away from the daily grind.
01. Las Vegas, NV
02. Los Angeles, CA
03. Houston, TX
04. Tampa, FL
05. Riverside, CA
06. Miami, FL
07. Dallas, TX
08. New York, NY
09. Chicago, IL
10. Detroit, MI
I have to say, this list resonates with me on a personal level. Regardless of what Forbes may think, Pittsburgh's stress levels are fairly high, too. And, at different times, I have thought of moving to Tampa, Las Vegas, Miami, NYC, and my homeland of L.A. as a means of escaping to a brighter future. I guess no matter what seat you're in, you're always under the gun.

In the Heat of the Night
At approximately 9:25 PM EST, the world got its answer: Lebron James is going to Miami. Whew, thank god THAT’s over.
Well, not exactly. As one city celebrates without actually having won anything, another city mourns yet one more moment of ruinous heartbreak in a generation of sports tragedy. But tomorrow, when the GHB-laced mojitos give way to the queasy unnerve of an uncertain future, the fans in Miami may find themselves dealing with a bit of remorse.
Miami is now the “other woman.” It’s the amoral hussy who stole away Cleveland’s one true love. See that wounded, mascara-streaked, wailing woman on the banks of the Cuyahoga River? The man that did that to her, the man she thought she would live the rest of her days beside, who would take her to a glorious future; the man who, after seven years, tore her heart from her chest on live, primetime television without ever giving her the ring she so badly wanted? He’s the man standing beside you, promising you all of those same forevers, all of the same glories.
And sure, you can tell yourself that no two relationships are the same. You can even choose to believe him when he tells you that what you and he have is nothing like what he had with his ex. But somewhere, back in the damp, quiet, haunted corners of your mind, will always be the question you desperately want to know but don’t dare ask: If he did it to her, will he do it to me, too?
