"Daammmnn Homie..."
So Curtis Jackson threw out the first pitch at the Mets game yesterday...
For his take on these events, we now turn to 50 Cent. 50, what are your thoughts?
It looks like 50 has no comments at this time. What about you, 50 Cent?

Sync'd Up
By now you've probably seen Keenan Cahill's YouTube lip-sync clips. In this new one, he gets an assist on Jeremih & 50 Cent's "Down on Me".

Putting Money Where Their Mouths Are
Who was hip-hop's top earner in the past year? No surprises here.
From MSN.com:
Given today's financial landscape, as well as the woes of the record industry, it's worth noting that just about everyone in Forbes' top 20 has another hustle besides rap. And in most cases, the performer saw a significant portion of his earnings come from his other business ventures.
From MSN.com:
Four years ago Jay-Z issued a lyrical taunt to his fellow rappers: "What you call money, I pay more in taxes." Turns out his line was more than just a boast.Jay-Z pulled in $63 million over the past 12 months, earning him his second-straight hip-hop cash crown. His income level places him in the 35 percent tax bracket, which means he'll pay Uncle Sam about $22 million this year -- a sum greater than the total earnings of any other rap star besides second-ranked Diddy.

50 Sheds 50
Maybe his new name should be "Buck-Fifty"? Entertainment Weekly reports that 50 Cent has shed over 50lbs for his role in the straight-to-DVD movie "Things Fall Apart", directed by Mario Van Peebles (and they included the frightening picture to the right). For a movie that will likely go straight to DVD, 50 Cent (real name: Curtis Jackson) made a hell of a sacrifice. Usually the MC looks like an NFL linebacker. But for his starring role in the Mario Van Peebles-directed Things Fall Apart, a movie he wrote, 50 dropped 54 pounds to play a college football player battling cancer.
Here's hoping someone has a sandwich waiting for him the second shooting wraps.

Video: 50 Cent "Do You Think About Me?" ft. Tahiry & Vivica Fox
I have to say 50 is just clowning in this video. I don't know how much he had to pay Vivica to appear like a psycho ex in this or if he's hittin Tahiry (Joe Budden's ex) on the regular, but I'm not mad at him.

50 Cent - Flight 187
I'm feelin this video. 50 expressing his thoughts as usual. Hook is iffy but I like the verses. He does throw a jab at Hova too.

50 and Dre in the studio
First of all, this is not great footage at all and there's no music or composing of music going on. It's really just 50 walking around Em's Detroit studio trying to get Dre in the footage so he can get more hits on his site.
However, if you're a die-hard rap fan such as myself and you're just interested in seeing what their studio looks like, then this is a decent look. 50 tours Em's huge studio in Detroit where Aftermath apparently records all of their music. Scan past the in-store signing at the beginning.

Download: 50 Cent "Tia Told Me (Rick Ross diss)"

"Wait, let me tell you what your baby mama told me... you ain't got a street bone in your whole body..."
I gotta say this is my favorite "diss" that has come from the whole 50 Cent/Rick Ross beef. I have to say the ultimate diss is that in all reality, 50 Cent is a far more powerful "boss" than Rick Ross will ever be or has ever been. The singing is quite comical clowning as well. Is 50 back? He's going after Fat Joe and DJ Khaled too. Rick should just make a truce.

50 takes Rick Ross's baby mama on a shopping spree
I can't help but to love 50 Cent and his childish antics whenever his albums are about to drop. Who can? He's a marketing genius and unfortunately for the fake rappers of the world like Rick Ross, that means career destruction coming their way.
In this clip 50 talks to Rick Ross's baby mama about her ex-lover and then takes her shopping as the ultimate clownage.
The worst part for Rick Ross is that he sucks at rapping so I'm wondering how he's even going to put up a fight in this beef.

Download: 50 Cent "Officer Ricky" Rick Ross/DJ Khaled/Lil Wayne Diss

I have to say I'm glad that someone finally came at Rick Ross and called his ass out on all the bird flippin bullshit that he spews. As much as 50 had fallen off, at least we know he comes from something real.

The words aren't too kind for Kanye at the end of this track. I can't never get enough of listening to 50 talk shit though.

Download: 50 Cent "I Get It In"

I was a die hard 50 fan before he was signed and after his first album. Then we grew apart and slowly but surely I'm becoming a fan again.
Here's another single from him produced by Dr. Dre and I'm sure it goes tough in the club.
"My 89 grind make my 09 shine like we been movin bricks round this bitch for years..."

New 50 Cent Show
Looks like MTV decided to take "G's and Gents," "The Apprentice," "The Amazing Race," and some other reality shows and make one big show with 50 Cent as the host/judge.
I'm glad that MTV came up with this creative idea because there aren't enough reality shows on TV.

Download: 50 Cent "Get Up"

If there's one thing that 50 has always done, it's deliver a solid lead single for his upcoming albums and this single doesn't disappoint. The beat is bananas (IMO) by Scott Storch, the verses are lacking but the hook gets it done. I'm ready to hear this in the club.
This is the lead single for his upcoming album "Before I Self Destruct," due in December.
