Throwback Thursday: "I Want You" — Thalia ft. Fat Joe
Sure, it's pop-y, papi. But Thalia is adorable. And this is a solid summer cookout/block party jam to get everyone's feet moving.

Gay Mafia?
I've got mad respect for Fat Joe for expressing a tolerant viewpoint in this Vlad TV interview, which is something that the world could always use more of. But saying there's a "gay mafia" in hip-hop? That sounds a little loco, papi. Don't know if I'd go that far.
Then again, he's a 20+ year vet in the game, and I'm...me. Maybe he knows something I don't.

Throwback Thursday: "Success" -- Fat Joe
This was the first single off of Joe's second album, "Jealous One's Envy", and the video features cameos by just about every heavy hitter in '90s NYC hip-hop. Cool little something to ride you on through to the weekend.

Download: Capone-N-Noreaga ft. Fat Joe and Rakewon "1st Degree Murder"

Why is Noreaga so much iller when Capone is on the track?? This is that good, late 90's NYC grimy thug music.

Download: 50 Cent "Tia Told Me (Rick Ross diss)"

"Wait, let me tell you what your baby mama told me... you ain't got a street bone in your whole body..."
I gotta say this is my favorite "diss" that has come from the whole 50 Cent/Rick Ross beef. I have to say the ultimate diss is that in all reality, 50 Cent is a far more powerful "boss" than Rick Ross will ever be or has ever been. The singing is quite comical clowning as well. Is 50 back? He's going after Fat Joe and DJ Khaled too. Rick should just make a truce.
