FSU's Zebrie Sanders: Frozen in time

This is ridiculous. This man actually did this in a big collegiate football game. WTF?

Big Time with the assist.

Interesting explanation:

"As funny as it looks, there is actually a reasonable explanation behind this. FSU OL Coach Rick Trickett, a former Marine, instructs his players to hold still if they think the defense is offside. Sanders was simply following his training to not move when the ball is snapped early. Why did he remain frozen after no penalty was called? My guess is that Sanders would rather be made fun of by uninformed members of the media, than suffer the wrath of Coach Trickett. Also, it is important to note that this strategy led to five offside penalties against the Gators - several of those resulting in 1st downs."
