I found a replacement for Dirk
You've probably heard by now that seven-foot sensation Dirk Nowitzki was injured yesterday. There's no real reports on how long he'll be out but if you saw the fall, it was pretty nasty and they're saying that both his ankle AND his knee are injured.
Dallas is currently in 7th place in the west and only two games ahead of Denver for the final playoff spot. Granted, I could definitely see the Ewing effect take place and Dallas becoming a better team than they were with Dirk (Josh Howard?), but that's highly unlikely.
But Dallas fans don't worry -- I've found you the perfect replacement.
Meet Leonid Stadnik, an eight-foot-five gentle giant from Ukraine. He's currently unemployed and ready for a serious playoff run.
Here's the story.
