Tom Cruise's great character from 2008's "Tropic Thunder" is getting his own movie, something many of us probably openly discussed and/or daydreamed about after Cruise's performance Sunday night at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards."Les Grossman's life story is an inspiring tale of the classic human struggle to achieve greatness against all odds," Ben Stiller , who starred in, co-wrote and directed "Tropic Thunder," said in a statement. "I am honored to be working with him."
Consider me cautiously-optimistic about this. The character has been great thus far, but neither appearance was all-Les-all-the-time. I really hope making a full movie out of him doesn't stretch the humor a little too thin.
