Gilbert to play in the five games of his choice

Gilbert Arenas, the internet fan favorite for his excellent blogging abilities and happy-go-lucky/emotional persona, has announced to some reporter that he will be playing in a few games this season. A few games of his choice.

From Steve Alexander's Daily Dose:
According to Chris Miller of Comcast via the Washington Post, Gilbert Arenas told Miller via a text message that he plans on making his return Saturday when the Wizards host the Pistons. Here is the reported content of his text: "You're the first to get the truth. I'm playing Saturday against Detroit. And I'm only playing home games but I will play in Cleveland. Me and Cleveland fans have this love, hate relationship."
My question is, why risk it? You aren't healthy enough to play in the road games but you're going to play in the home games? Then you're obviously risking a fourth straight season-ending injury that can carry over into next season.

Gilbert, fans want to see you play.

Corner Sleeper with the dish.

Daily Dunk: Carlos Boozer

Gilbert Arenas recently announced that he'll have a third knee surgery that will keep him on the DL until December. He definitely won't miss plays like this.

And one.

Gilbert's Million Dollar Pool

Apparently I'm a month late on this one so some of you may have already seen it, but I haven't. Gilbert Arenas is building a million dollar pool that is actually valued at a higher price, but of course he has the hook-up.

Basically he's getting a pool like the pool at the Playboy mansion, except it's going to be twice the size and will have numerous shark tanks, fish tanks, and eel/sting ray tanks. On top of that, he's putting an illegal bullhead shark tank (he said it himself) in his basement. Apparently, bullhead sharks are the most aggressive sharks so Gil wants to view some of that action when there's nothing on TV.

These pictures are months old according to Gil's blog, but it gives you an idea of what he's going for. The builder of the pool told Gil that his pool will be top five largest in America. Now I remember why I wanted to be an NBA guard for a living.

Hilarious Fan Comment

Last week Gil Arenas thought he was going to play for 20 minutes in his first Wiz game in forever. So he did not wear the NBA regulated "suit coat" to the game, instead he wore a sweater with a collar. The NBA (Stern) threatened to fine him if this happened again. This was noted in the Wizards blog.

This comment on the blog had me dying for some reason (pic would make it a classic):

"I heard the league is looking into fining Wizards equipment manager Rob Suller if he continues to sit behind the bench with hot wings stains on his shirt."
