Throwback Thursday: "What They Really Want" — DMX ft. Sisqo

Honestly, the album version was better. But this track could knock a club down back in the day. If you're age 30-40 and black, don't front like you weren't on that "I'ma be a n***a for life!" shit at the time. I know I was.

And yeah, the video is...aesthetically pleasing.

Throwback Thursday: "It's All About Me" -- Mya ft. Dru Hill

Don't worry; when this video launched her into the spotlight in early '98, Mya was of age. ...I think.

*checks Wikipedia*

Yup, she was 19 (*exhales*). Which is just about the right age, I suppose, to be singing an ode to being selfish in the bedroom. This has to be the one and only time someone has simulated sex while wearing a fencing outfit.

Throwback Thursday: "In My Bed" -- Dru Hill

This is the track that lit the fuse on Dru's three year run as the biggest name in R&B. I still remember people at the prom & post-prom parties trying to simulate the synchronized dance move at the 2:55 mark.

Overall, the video is clever and stays true to the song. And it even features a surprise twist ending (and, in my opinion, a lol-worthy final frame).
