Monday Kickstart (Part 2): Inspiration

It's women like Devin Brugman that almost make me want to open an Instagram account. Almost...

Monday Kickstart (Part 2): Inspiration

If you don't know who Tianna Gregory is, you should. She is one of the most beautiful women in the world, and a rare repeat among Monday Kickstart inspirations.

[NOTE: The first shot above was done by Martin Murillo. Looking through some of the shoots he's done with Tianna and other models, this guy is a legit talent behind the camera. Check out his Tumblr page to see more of his work.]

Monday Kickstart (Part 2): Inspiration

This week's inspiration is the beautiful Autumn Lynn...whose name is kind of ironic, since this picture is the essence of summer.

Monday Kickstart (Part 2): Inspiration

This week's inspiration is the beautiful Ms. Daniella Chavez. I've been trying for like 20 minutes to come up with something clever to say about her jaw-dropping curves, but all I've come up with so far is "Good lawd..."

...Good lawd. Let's go.

Monday Kickstart: Spit That Hot Fiyah

WHY'S SHIA GOT MORE FLOW THAN IGGY, THO?

When Mondays strike, you always know you can count on Shia doing some Shia shit. You may not know exactly what that Shia shit will be, but you know it will be straight Shia. Coincidentally, I'm beginning to think "Shia" is Hebrew for "cray."

You can also count on Candace Rae making your jaw drop:

Monday Kickstart: Faster Than You Think

*sigh* It's a good thing she's pretty.

When I saw the description of this video, I was certain this girl would be less than 10 years old. Who older than that can't answer that question? [...when they're sober, that is. Catch me late on a Saturday of day drinking and I might stumble a little too.] This somehow feels worse than the girl who couldn't figure out how far you'd go in an hour if you're traveling 60 mph. At least that chick tried to apply some logic, as hilariously flawed as said logic might have been. I feel like "60 mph girl" would ruin the curve for "80 mph girl."

Speaking of curves, this week's inspiration is Ms. Anastasiya Kvitko, whose beauty and figure render all math problems irrelevant:

привет там, красивая. Let's go.

Monday Kickstart: It's All in the Wrist

If this doesn't perfectly sum up Mondays...

I guess Frisbees are new in Bosnia. Of course, that would make the Frisbee the only "new" thing in this video. I can't tell if this was shot 20 years ago, or if that's just how Bosnia looks. The pumping Euro-techno beat isn't helping, either.

Maybe that wasn't actually music, though. Maybe that loud thumping was just my blood pressure, thanks to this week's inspiration, Ms. Arianna Varella:

Monday Kickstart: Do You Really Wanna Know?

Would you rather tell your ex what your friends and family thought of him/her, or down a shot of whiskey? Well...

I love the guys who pretend to not know what a body shot is. C'mon, man, she already broke up with you.

Maybe I'm just an honest person by nature...and maybe that's why I have so many of the exes I have. *ahem* Regardless, I don't think I'd have much trouble answering these questions. I'm not friends with any of my exes, though; that would definitely ramp up the awkwardness. And do I get to pick which ex I sit down with? I mean, otherwise you could end up with just a video of a lot of Spanish cursing.

Moving on... I wonder how many of Aja Dang's exes would be able to sit across a table without drinking shots...

...Lots of shots. I mean, imagine realizing you let that get away? Let's go.

Monday Kickstart: Online Dating

If you could go on a date with your favorite website, would you even want to? Emma Blackery shows you what it might be like.

This is like an adult version of BuzzFeed's "If the internet was a high school" video. Blackery's impressions are spot-on, from Tumblr's constant need take offense to minor things, to Google+'s desire to be loved. And you've gotta love her commitment on the Instagram impression.

This week's inspiration is a woman you most certainly would rather date, Ms. Sara Kristina:

Tuesday Kickstart: Try, Try Again

What happened to Monday, you ask? Fuck Monday.

No, you want an actual reason this wasn't posted yesterday? Umm. I, uh... Okay, I fell asleep early Sunday night, and didn't get a post put together. *shrug* Shit happens.

So do outtakes. If you're familiar with Glove and Boots, then you know they put together some of the best YouTube material out there. But even these guys aren't perfect. Case in point:

I only hope that brought you as much joy as it brought me. I have an inherent tendency to laugh at other people cracking (count me among those who loved Jimmy Fallon's inability to hold his shit on SNL). Gag reels are my spiritual center, and watching that video last night had me in hysterics. I'm talking, laughing-so-hard-I'm-crying-so-hard-I-can't-breathe-so-hard-call-paramedics hysterics. Holy hell I'm ready to kill Tuesday after that.

Speaking of which, you had to wait an extra day for inspiration, and for that I apologize. All I can say is that I hope you'll agree that Miss... Miss de la Hoyde? *checks notes* We don't have a first name for her? Kev? TJ? No first name? Why should I even bother giving her a shout if we don't know her first na—

...oh. I see. Umm...I think that'll do. Let's go.

Monday Kickstart: Hugs All Around

For all the hype that led up to it, the only thing that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao settled was the legitimacy of concerns that boxing is dead.

Forgive me if I sound like a crotchety old-timer, but what the hell has happened to boxing? What we saw Saturday night was not the boxing I grew up with. Back then guys, you know...boxed. They were aggressive. They fought like their paycheck depended on it. Mayweather's didn't, and that clearly took away any incentive he might have had to actually fight. He has a defensive style, sure. But he looked completely shook in the ring on Saturday, refusing to throw counter punches, no matter how many times Pacquiao pressed him.

Boxing is dead. Time of death: about 1 a.m. EST, May 3, 2015.

On to more uplifting thoughts. Like Miss April 2014, the exquisite Ms. Shanice Jordyn:

Monday Kickstart: Lost in Translation

Tell me again how Obama isn't the coolest president we've ever had.

It's disappointing to see so many people in that room with blank looks on their faces. What's worse is it wasn't necessarily old, stuffy Republican senators and cable news blowhards who weren't laughing. There were people under 30 who were sitting there lifeless. How does that happen? Luther is a national treasure.

Speaking of treasures, this week's inspiration is Ms. Muriel Villera:

Go 'head, mami. You're killing 'em. Let's go.

Monday Kickstart: High Holiday

Happy 4/20, my good peoples. This video is a little old, having first hit the web late last year. But I move that it become a 4/20 tradition, the It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown of this weed smokers' holiday—a holiday that's only going to get bigger as marijuana legalization spreads across the country.

Those ladies rock. Gangsta grannies. Who wouldn't love to see their grandmother get stoned? The closest I ever came was smoking with one of my aunts. Both of my grandmothers have been gone for quite some time, but I know both would've been hilarious while high. If you're lucky enough to still have your grandparents in your life, get them high, as a thank you for being awesome.

This week's inspiration is a beautiful, swirling blend of curves and fluid movement, like smoke itself. Introducing Ms. Jena Frumés:

Monday Kickstart: Back to School

Back when I was in college, the most mature insult I—and the others in whatever circle of friends or like-minded fellow 20-somethings happened to be gathered—could throw at a collection of individuals is to say it was "like a high school." Our small liberal arts college's proclivity for gossip? So high school. The way people bickered over petty bullshit in my family? What were they, freshmen in high school?

And the internet? With its rumors, unsolicited opinions, and unsubstantiated accusations? The internet acts just like a big high school.

You have to watch that about 10 times to pick up on all of the websites and references they throw into it. Well done, Cracked. Though, unless I overlooked it, I notice that they didn't put themselves into it, which feels a little catty. A little immature. A little...high school.

This week we turn to Ms. Ruby Palm for inspiration, for two reasons: (1.) she's a proud L.A. gal; (2.) she's got more curves than Highway 1:

Monday Kickstart: Get Into the Groove

It's Monday. Which probably means your morning sucks. The workweek probably feels like a brick wall coming straight at you, while sadistically asking you to conform to its unrealistic standards of productivity. In other words, it probably feels a little something like...

I feel like I should feel worse about laughing at that than I do. Her "Oh crap" just wins it, though. She certainly deserves credit for trying. Just like we all do on a Monday morning.

This week's inspiration is Ms. Lauren Hanley, who will surely ignite your patriotism, among other things:

Tuesday Kickstart: Erin Go BRUH

From Barstool Sports:
Bravo! Bravo! One of the more exciting films I’ve seen this year. On the edge of your seat, white knuckle entertainment the entire time. Classic story of a man going toe to toe with physics, only taking a quick break to piss himself. Will he defy gravity and keep his feet or will he succumb to science and break his skull then lie in the middle of the parking lot wearing his pee pants? Tune in to find out!

I was pretty damn drunk for St. Patty's Day this past Saturday (Pittsburgh celebrates the weekend beforehand...because we're responsible). [And yes, that's why this post is a day later than usual.] I mean, don't-remember-how-I-ended-up-in-random-bars-with-random-people-drinking-random-cocktails-and-watching-people-chop-up-random-lines-of-coke drunk. You know—St. Patty's. But I was nowhere near as obliterated as that guy. My pants stayed dry.

This week's inspiration comes in the awe-inspiring form of Kerri O.:

Now that's intoxicating. Let's go.
