Winner winner chicken dinner
Last night Peter Eastgate of Denmark took down Ivan Demidov of Russia around 2:30 a.m. to capture the 2008 World Series of Poker main event bracelet and a meager cash prize of $9,152,416.
Eastgate's winning hand was A-5 that made a straight on the turn to take out Demidov's 4-2 two pair and all-in river bet.
Congratulations to Eastgate, who became the youngest WSOP main event winner at the age of 22. Phil Hellmuth held the previous record of 24.
