DENVER -- After attempts to reconcile with Cutler were unsuccessful, the Denver Broncos on Wednesday morning initiated a blockbuster three-team trade with the Eagles and Browns.

Clayton's take
The three-team trade that sent Jay Cutler to Philadelphia, Donovan McNabb to Cleveland, and Brady Quinn plus a late round draft choice to Denver early Wednesday had been one of the most difficult to put together in the past couple of years. When all was said and done, the deal made all involved happy.
