Seattle keeps the name and logo, but loses the team. Which isn't the worst thing in the world. Honestly, if Charlotte can get a new expansion team 2 years after running the Hornets out of town (something I will never understand) then surely Seattle will get another team one day, probably sooner than later. The Grizzlies aren't too happy and the Bobcats are walking the same road that the Hornets once did. And when the NBA does return to the Emerald City, the Sonics name, history and fanbase will we waiting with open arms.
At the very least, we won't have to deal with the Oklahoma City Sonics.
