This is dope and I'm looking forward to maxing the volume in the Lex, throwing my stunnas on, rolling down the windows and driving 10 MPH down Venice Blvd to it.
Jeezy, Drake, Jeezy, Drake, Jeezus... Get used to that duo because this song is gonna be on the radio for about seven months. Looks like Drake has his sights set on Jay-Z numbers because this is another fresh track catered to the mainstream fan base. Jeezy lends a helping hand and murders it as well. Produced by 40.
Sure, there are some fundamental flaws in this video such as splashing the pot with an unknown amount of chips and throwing your size 16 shell tops into the pot, but this is still a great commercial bringing together basketball, shoes, poker, rap, and partying (can you say Crooked Straight?!) by Adidas and Foot Locker.
Out of the five Kanye tracks that I've heard from his new 808s and Heartbreak album, this is my favorite joint. I'm not a Jeezy fan at all and I'm not feeling his verse on here but he's what's in right now so he's obviously snatching up guest appearances left and right. I miss the old Kanye that spit controversial lyrics and hand-picked underground emcees to feature on his album. Eh.
As much as I dislike Young Jeezy's music, this is one song that I do like a lot. He brought Nas out on Monday night (11/3) to perform this gem, only to see it come to life the following day. I still can't get over the fact that Barack Obama is about to be our president.
This is a remix with Jeezy bragging about how he should be registered to smoke, but isn't registered to vote (wtf?...someone correct me if I'm wrong), Kanye doing his annoying vocoder deal and Jay-Z outshining them in a below average verse of his where he brings up his Prodigy summer jam clownage. I guess if Jeezy wanted me on a remix I would half ass it too. Thanks again to BC.
