Kev, you remember this one? I'd have to put this down as one of Reign Man's most vicious jams ever. I mean, he hit homie IN THE MOUTH.

The Reign Man is back

The man who inspired half of my generation's dunk-hoop antics in back alley adjustable rims and basement nerf hoops, is back.
Looks like Shawn Kemp is playing pro ball in Italy. How could this happen? I have no idea, but it is possible that Kemp is able to avoid several warrants by getting out of the country.
Shawn Kemp, 40, has finalized a deal to come out of retirement to play in Italy. Kemp will play for Premiati Montegranaro this season. As ballineurope.com points out, the game to circle on your calender is Dec. 21 in Rome when Kemp's team plays Pallacanestro Virtus Roma featuring Brandon Jennings. It will be the matchup of Kemp, one of the first NBA stars out of high school, against Jennings, a first team USA TODAY All-USA basketball selection, who chose to skip college and go to Europe to get ready for the NBA.

The Glove and Rain Man discuss the Sonics and leaving Seattle
This is from "Best Damn Sports Show," Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp discussing why they want the Sonics to stay in Seattle and what it would mean to them.
Unfortunately it didn't matter. Thanks to Kemp and GP for giving us Sonics fans some great memories during the 90's. Those 90's Sonics with GP, Kemp, McMillan, Ricky Pierce, Hersey Hawkins, Detlef, Dana Barros, etc., etc. are the Sonics that I will remember.

Daily Dunk: Shawn Kemp
This was actually one of the maybe 10 Sonics games that I ever went to and this one was against his Airness and the Bulls. Kemp does a nice reverse dunk and then dangles his jewels in Rodmans face.
R.I.P. Sonics.
