They say that the best way to objectively look at a situation is to step back and view it from the outside. Perhaps that's why John Oliver, a native of the UK, is able to so keenly identify and address the problems surrounding what's going on in Ferguson, MO—and the United States in general—right now. If the people in Missouri's government and Ferguson's police department took the time to do the same, the tragedy of Michael Brown's murder may never have happened.
